Primeira Liga (Week 11) : Guimaraes beats Boavista 2-1
PORTUGAL, Nov. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 11: After losing 0-1 to Nacional on November 7, the Vimaranenses bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Boavista this Saturday.
Boavista had started off well by taking the lead in the 42nd minute with a goal by Brazilian forward Douglas Abner. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Vimaranenses nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Henrique '66 and Cafu Miguel Dias '89).
Vitoria SC climbed to 11st place with 13 points from 11 games, only one point behind CS Maritimo.
