Primeira Liga (Week 11) : Sporting beats Belenenses 1-0
PORTUGAL, Nov. 30, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 11: Five wins in a row for Sporting Lisbon. After their success against Vitoria Guimaraes, Benfica, Estoril and Arouca, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 1-0 victory over Belenenses this Monday.
Belenenses made Sporting Lisbon doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Sporting Lisbon midfielder Carvalho William on penalty in stoppage time.
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in first place with 29 points from 11 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
