Primeira Liga (Week 19) : Boavista beats Tondela 2-1
PORTUGAL, Jan. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Boavista. After their 4-0 win against Vitoria Setubal on January 18, the Panthers continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 2-1 victory over Tondela this Monday.
Iriberri Imanol opened the score in the 24th minute, before seeing Tondela catch up in the 32nd minute thanks to Junior Nathan penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Panthers eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Idris Mandiang with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Boavista FC remains in 17th place with 16 points from 19 games, one point behind Académica Coimbra.
