Primeira Liga (Week 3) : Guimaraes beats Paços de Ferreira 5-3
PORTUGAL, Aug. 26, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 3: Two wins in a row for Vitoria Guimaraes. After their 0-2 win against Maritimo on August 20, the Vimaranenses continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 5-3 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Friday.
Moussa Marega scored dual goals
Paços de Ferreira opened the score in the score in the 1st minute thanks to Andrezinho Leal, before Vitoria Guimaraes regained the advantage with Marega ('5) and Silva Mateus ('15 own). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Vimaranenses further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Marega '49, Hurtado Paolo '53 and Aurelio Joao '63/penalty).
Vitoria SC climbed to first place with 6 points from 3 games, tie on points with runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
