Primeira Liga (Week 3) : Boavista draw 2-2 with Chaves
PORTUGAL, Aug. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 3: The match between Boavista and Chaves ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Boavista players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Maltese forward André Schembri in the 36th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Espino Fabio goal on penalty ('75) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Chaves with goals by Elhouni Hamdou ('71) and Perdigao Fernandes ('83).
Boavista FC remains in 6th place with 5 points from 3 games, one point behind Sporting Clube de Portugal, which has a game in hand.
