Primeira Liga (Week 19) : Sporting defeats Paços de Ferreira 4-2
PORTUGAL, Jan. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 19: After their 2-2 draw against Chaves on January 21 and 2-2 draw against Maritimo on January 21, the Sportinguistas bounced back with a 4-2 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Saturday.
Bas Dost scored dual goals
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Silva Adrien ('12 on penalty), Dost ('32) and Martins Gelson ('35). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Dost in the 78th minute.
Sporting Clube de Portugal climbed to third place with 38 points from 19 games, 6 points behind FC Porto.
