PORTUGAL, Jan. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 18: After losing 3-0 to Porto on January 15, the Verdes-e-Brancos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Friday.
Moreirense dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Roberto Rodrigo in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Verdes-e-Brancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Podence Daniel in the 54th minute.
FC Paços de Ferreira remains in 13rd place with 17 points from 18 games, 3 points behind CF Os Belenenses, which has a game in hand.
