Primeira Liga (Week 18) : Porto beats Rio Ave 4-2
PORTUGAL, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Porto. After their 3-0 win against Moreirense on January 15, the Dragons continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 4-2 victory over Rio Ave this Saturday.
Felipe Augusto opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Rio Ave catch up in the 35th minute thanks to Guedes Helder. 1-1 at half time. The Dragons eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Marcano ('55), Pereira Danilo ('62) and Pedro Rui ('88).
FC Porto remains in second place with 41 points from 18 games, one point behind SL Benfica, which has a game in hand.
