Primeira Liga (Week 18) : Boavista beats Arouca 2-1
PORTUGAL, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 18: After their 3-3 draw against Benfica on January 14, the Panthers bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Arouca this Saturday.
Arouca forward Tomane Mendes opened the score in the 8th minute, before seeing Boavista catch up in the 11th minute thanks to Mandiang Idris. 1-1 at half time. The Panthers eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Medeiros in the 62nd minute.
Boavista FC climbed to 8th place with 24 points from 18 games, tie on points with GD Chaves, which has a game in hand.
