PORTUGAL, Jan. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 17: Three wins in a row for Maritimo. After their success against Feirense and Estoril, the Verde-Rubros continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 3-1 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Sunday.
Sousa Dyego scored dual goals
Maritimo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Sousa Dyego ('5) and Silva Raul ('8). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Verde-Rubros further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Sousa Dyego on penalty in the 68th minute.
CS Maritimo climbed to 6th place with 26 points from 17 games, 5 points behind Vitoria SC.
