Segunda division (Week 24) : Valladolid beats Santander 4-1
SPAIN, Feb. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 24: After their 0-0 draw against Lugo on February 1, Los Pucelanos bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Racing Santander this Saturday.
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Timor in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Valiente '49, Pereira '56 and Gonzalez '61).
Real Valladolid climbed to second place with 45 points from 24 games, 2 points behind UD Las Palmas, which has a game in hand.
