Segunda division (Week 24) : Gijon beats Albacete 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 24: Three wins in a row for Sporting Gijon. After their success against Numancia and Ponferradina, Los Rojiblancos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Albacete this Sunday.
Albacete made Sporting Gijon doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Castro ('60) and Jony ('87).
Real Sporting de Gijon climbed to second place with 47 points from 24 games, tie on points with UD Las Palmas.
