Segunda division (Week 23) : Albacete defeats Tenerife 3-2
SPAIN, Jan. 31, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 23: Two wins in a row for Albacete. After their 2-3 win against Alcorcon on January 25, El “Queso Mecánico” continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-2 victory over Tenerife this Saturday.
Chumbi scored dual goals
Rivero opened the score in the 14th minute, before seeing Albacete catch up in the 23rd minute thanks to Chumbi. 1-1 at half time. El “Queso Mecánico” eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Chumbi ('47) and Pulido ('60).
CD Tenerife are down in 17th place with 24 points from 23 games, tie on points with CD Lugo, which has a game in hand.
