Segunda division (Week 23) : Girona beats Alcorcon 3-0
SPAIN, Feb. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 23: Three wins in a row for Girona. After their success against Lugo and Racing Santander, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-0 victory over Alcorcon this Sunday.
Alcorcon made Girona doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Ramalho ('57), Sandaza ('65) and Sanchon ('90).
Girona FC climbed to second place with 44 points from 23 games, 3 points behind UD Las Palmas.
