Segunda division (Week 35) : Betis beats Alavés 2-1
SPAIN, Apr. 25, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 35: Five wins in a row for Real Betis. After their success against Recreativo, Osasuna, Barcelona B and Zaragoza, Los Beticos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Alavés this Saturday.
Real Betis dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Molina in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Beticos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Castro in the 73rd minute.
Real Betis remains in first place with 71 points from 35 games, a 9-point lead over runner-up Real Sporting de Gijon, which has a game in hand.
