Segunda division (Week 35) : Girona defeats Recreativo 3-0
SPAIN, Apr. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 35: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 2-1 win against Leganés on April 18, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-0 victory over Recreativo this Sunday.
Girona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Granell ('28) and Lejeune ('34). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Blanquivermells further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sandaza in the 67th minute.
Girona FC climbed to second place with 65 points from 35 games, 6 points behind Real Betis.
