SPAIN, Apr. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 34: After losing 2-0 to Las Palmas on April 12, the Blanquivermells bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Leganés this Saturday.
Leganés made Girona doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Mata ('62) and Sandaza ('69).
Girona FC climbed to second place with 62 points from 34 games, 3 points behind Real Betis, which has a game in hand.
