Segunda division (Week 38) : Gijon beats Santander 3-1
SPAIN, May. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 38: Three wins in a row for Sporting Gijon. After their success against Mallorca and Lugo, Los Rojiblancos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-1 victory over Racing Santander this Saturday.
Guerrero scored dual goals
Juanpe opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Sporting Gijon catch up in the 17th minute thanks to Guerrero. 1-1 at half time. Los Rojiblancos eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Bernardo ('63) and Guerrero ('68).
Real Sporting de Gijon climbed to second place with 72 points from 38 games, 3 points behind Real Betis, which has a game in hand.
