Segunda division (Week 9) : Elche beats Almeria 3-2
SPAIN, Oct. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 9: After losing 4-1 to Llagostera on October 10 and 1-4 to Mirandés on October 10, Los Franjiverdes bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Almeria this Sunday.
Quique Gonzalez opened the score in the 39th minute, before seeing Elche catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Gimenez Alvaro. 1-1 at half time. Los Franjiverdes eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Leon Sergio ('71) and Lozano Armando ('76).
Elche CF climbed to 6th place with 14 points from 9 games, tie on points with CD Numancia, which has a game in hand.
