SPAIN, Jan. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 19: After losing 1-2 to Huesca on December 20 and 1-0 to Real Oviedo on December 20, Los Rojiblancos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Llagostera this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Quique Gonzalez ('47) and Fatau Mohammed ('58).
UD Almería climbed to 20th place with 17 points from 19 games, 2 points behind Girona FC, which has a game in hand.
