SPAIN, Feb. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 24: The match between Girona and Gimnastic de Tarragona ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Gimnastic de Tarragona players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Naranjo Jose in the 30th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Girona with a saving goal from Mata Jaime on penalty in the 78th minute.
Gimnastic de Tarragona remains in 6th place with 38 points from 24 games, tie on points with CD Mirandés.
