Segunda division (Week 23) : Numancia hold Girona to 1-1
SPAIN, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 23: The match between Numancia and Girona ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Numancia players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Valcarce Luis in the 24th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Girona with a saving goal from Lekic Dejan in the 90th minute.
Girona FC climbed to 13rd place with 29 points from 23 games, 2 points behind Real Zaragoza.
