SPAIN, Jan. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 23: Los Califas crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 3-2 against Leganés.
Ramos Omar scored dual goals
Cordoba had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by De Tomas Raul on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Pepineros nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Szymanowski Alexander '47 and Ramos Omar '85 on penalty, '87).
CD Leganés climbed to second place with 40 points from 23 games, 2 points behind Deportivo Alavés, which has a game in hand.
