Segunda division (Week 23) : Oviedo and Alavés play out 1-1 draw
SPAIN, Jan. 30, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 23: The match between actual leader Alavés and Real Oviedo ended in a frustrating 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Real Oviedo players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Valle Borja in the 11th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Alavés with a saving goal from Toquero Gaizka in the 47th minute.
Deportivo Alavés remains in first place with 43 points from 23 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up CD Leganés.
