Segunda division (Week 23) : Elche beats Athletic B 1-0
SPAIN, Jan. 31, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 23: Three wins in a row for Elche. After their success against Alcorcon and Ponferradina, Los Franjiverdes continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Bilbao Athletic this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Moreno Alex in the 60th minute.
Elche CF climbed to 7th place with 37 points from 23 games, tie on points with Gimnastic de Tarragona.
