Segunda division (Week 20) : Cordoba beats Mallorca 3-1
SPAIN, Jan. 10, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 20: After losing 2-1 to Elche on January 3 and 1-2 to Mirandés on January 3, Los Califas bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Mallorca this Sunday.
Cordoba dominated the first half thanks to goals from Andone Florin ('17) and Xisco Francisco ('27). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Califas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Markovic Sasa in the 72nd minute.
Cordoba CF remains in second place with 36 points from 20 games, 3 points behind Deportivo Alavés.
