SPAIN, Jan. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 20: Three wins in a row for Alavés. After their success against Ponferradina and Bilbao Athletic, Los Babazorros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Numancia this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Llamas Sergio with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Deportivo Alavés remains in first place with 39 points from 20 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up AD Alcorcon.
