Segunda division (Week 29) : Elche beats Mirandés 2-1
SPAIN, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 29: After their 1-1 draw against Llagostera on March 5, Los Franjiverdes returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Mirandés this Saturday.
Leon Sergio scored dual goals
Mirandés had started off well by taking the lead in the 43rd minute with a goal by Kijera Gorka. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Franjiverdes nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Leon Sergio '57, '65).
Elche CF climbed to 8th place with 43 points from 29 games, tie on points with CA Osasuna, which has a game in hand.
