Segunda division (Week 28) : Girona beats Mirandés 2-0
SPAIN, Mar. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 0-1 win against Llagostera on February 27, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Mirandés this Saturday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Olivas Kiko ('48) and Herrera Cristian ('71).
Girona FC climbed to 9th place with 40 points from 28 games, only one point behind AD Alcorcon, which has a game in hand.
