Segunda division (Week 27) : Tenerife defeats Mirandés 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 27: Two wins in a row for Tenerife. After their 3-1 win against Llagostera on February 21, Los Chicharreros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Mirandés this Sunday.
Nano Alexander scored dual goals
Tenerife dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Nano Alexander in the 7th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Chicharreros further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Nano Alexander in the 54th minute.
CD Mirandés are down in 9th place with 40 points from 27 games, one point behind AD Alcorcon.
