Segunda division (Week 29) : Numancia defeats Athletic B 3-2
SPAIN, Mar. 12, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 29: After losing 1-0 to Ponferradina on March 6, Los Numantinos bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Bilbao Athletic this Saturday.
Alvarez Julio scored dual goals
Villalibre Asier opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Numancia catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Alegria Alex. 1-1 at half time. Los Numantinos eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Alvarez Julio ('56, '67 on penalty).
CD Numancia climbed to 13rd place with 38 points from 29 games, only one point behind CD Lugo, which has a game in hand.
