Segunda division (Week 38) : Oviedo beats Mirandés 4-1
SPAIN, May. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 38: After losing 2-0 to Llagostera on May 7, the Carbayones bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Mirandés this Saturday.
Real Oviedo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Erice Jon in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Carbayones further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Toche Nicolas '52, Valle Borja '58 and Susaeta Nestor '78/penalty).
Real Oviedo climbed to fifth place with 59 points from 38 games, only one point behind Real Zaragoza.
