Segunda division (Week 38) : Ponferradina beats Lugo 2-1
SPAIN, May. 15, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 38: After their 1-1 draw against Zaragoza on May 7 and 0-0 draw against Osasuna on May 7, La Ponfe returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Lugo this Sunday.
Ponferradina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Basha Vullnet in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Ponfe further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Aguza Sergio on penalty in the 57th minute.
CD Lugo are down in 14th place with 51 points from 38 games, tie on points with CD Tenerife.
