Segunda division (Week 39) : Lugo beats Athletic B 2-0
SPAIN, May. 22, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 39: After losing 1-2 to Alcorcon on May 15 and 2-1 to Ponferradina on May 15, El Luguiño returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Bilbao Athletic this Sunday.
Lugo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Caballero Pablo in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, El Luguiño further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Joselu Jose Luis on penalty with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.
CD Lugo climbed to 12nd place with 54 points from 39 games, tie on points with CD Tenerife.
