Segunda division (Week 39) : Cordoba defeats Elche 3-1
SPAIN, May. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 39: After losing 1-0 to Llagostera on May 15, Los Califas bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Elche this Saturday.
Andone Florin scored dual goals
Cordoba dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Andone Florin in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Califas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Rios Pedro '60 and Andone Florin '90/penalty).
Cordoba CF climbed to 7th place with 58 points from 39 games, only one point behind Real Oviedo, which has a game in hand.
