SPAIN, May. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 40: Two wins in a row for Cordoba. After their 3-1 win against Elche on May 21, Los Califas continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-0 victory over Mirandés this Wednesday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Fidel De La Torre ('59), Cisma Domingo ('78) and De Tomas Raul ('90).
Cordoba CF climbed to fourth place with 61 points from 40 games, 4 points behind CD Leganés, which has a game in hand.
