Segunda division : Girona finish 4th after beating Ponferradina
SPAIN, Jun. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 42: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 2-0 win against Alcorcon on May 29, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Ponferradina this Saturday.
Ponferradina made Girona doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Herrera Cristian with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
