SPAIN, Aug. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 2: After a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano on August 20, Los Franjiverdes lost 3-1 against Girona.
Girona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Garcia Borja ('22) and Portu ('41). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Blanquivermells further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Longo Samuele in the 75th minute.
