Segunda division (Week 22) : Rayo and Elche tied at 1-1
SPAIN, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 22: The match between Rayo Vallecano and Elche ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday.
Elche players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Fernandez Guillermo in the 38th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Rayo Vallecano with a saving goal from Miku Flores on penalty in the 73rd minute.
Elche CF climbed to 8th place with 23 points from 18 games, 2 points behind CD Lugo.
