SPAIN, Jan. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 22: Two wins in a row for Tenerife. After their 1-0 win against Zaragoza on January 14, Los Chicharreros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Cordoba this Saturday.
Cordoba made Tenerife doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Lozano Anthony ('76) and Perdomo Omar ('81).
CD Tenerife climbed to fourth place with 27 points from 18 games, only one point behind Getafe CF, which has a game in hand.
