Segunda division (Week 24) : Tenerife beats Elche 2-0
SPAIN, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 24: Three wins in a row for Tenerife. After their success against Zaragoza and Cordoba, Los Chicharreros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Elche this Saturday.
Dhiedhiou Amath scored dual goals
Tenerife dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dhiedhiou Amath in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Chicharreros further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Dhiedhiou Amath in the 52nd minute.
CD Tenerife climbed to fourth place with 30 points from 19 games, only one point behind Girona FC, which has a game in hand.
