Segunda division (Week 24) : Numancia beats Alcorcon 3-2
SPAIN, Feb. 4, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for Numancia. After their 2-0 win against Getafe on January 29, Los Numantinos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-2 victory over Alcorcon this Saturday.
Alvarez Julio scored dual goals
Kadir Foued opened the score in the 15th minute, before seeing Numancia catch up in the 31st minute thanks to Calvo Dani. 1-1 at half time. Los Numantinos eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Alvarez Julio ('49 on penalty, '81).
CD Numancia climbed to second place with 32 points from 20 games, 7 points behind Levante UD, which has a game in hand.
