Segunda division (Week 25) : Mallorca beats Rayo 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 25: After losing 2-1 to Real Oviedo on February 5, Los Bermellones bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.
Mallorca dominated the first half thanks to goals from Junior Lago ('16) and Culio Emmanuel ('21 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Bermellones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
RCD Mallorca climbed to 14th place with 23 points from 19 games, only one point behind UD Almería.
