Segunda division (Week 25) : Oviedo beats Mirandés 2-0
SPAIN, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 25: Two wins in a row for Real Oviedo. After their 2-1 win against Mallorca on February 5, the Carbayones continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Mirandés this Sunday.
Real Oviedo dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Berjon Saul in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Carbayones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Costas David in the 63rd minute.
Real Oviedo climbed to fourth place with 32 points from 21 games, tie on points with CD Numancia, which has a game in hand.
