Segunda division (Week 34) : Getafe defeats Alcorcon 3-0
SPAIN, Apr. 16, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 34: Two wins in a row for Getafe. After their 2-0 win against Levante on April 8, Los Azulones continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-0 victory over Alcorcon this Sunday.
Getafe dominated the first half thanks to goals from Navarro David ('41 own) and Tropi Carlos ('45 own). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Azulones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Molina Jorge with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Getafe CF remains in fourth place with 43 points from 27 games, one point behind CD Tenerife.
