Segunda division (Week 34) : Numancia defeats Elche 3-1
SPAIN, Apr. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 34: After losing 0-2 to Girona on April 9, Los Numantinos bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Elche this Saturday.
Numancia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by De Galarreta Inigo in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Numantinos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Sanchez Nacho '50 and Medina Unai '90/penalty).
CD Numancia climbed to 7th place with 38 points from 27 games, tie on points with SD Huesca.
