Segunda division (Week 35) : Valladolid defeats Elche 2-1
SPAIN, Apr. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 35: Two wins in a row for Valladolid. After their 2-1 win against Cordoba on April 9, Los Pucelanos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Elche this Saturday.
De Tomas Raul opened the score in the 7th minute, before seeing Elche catch up in the 11th minute thanks to Valle Borja. 1-1 at half time. Los Pucelanos eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Arnaiz Jose with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Real Valladolid climbed to 10th place with 37 points from 29 games, tie on points with CD Lugo, which has two games in hand.
