Segunda division (Week 33) : Valladolid defeats Cordoba 2-1
SPAIN, Apr. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 33: After their 1-1 draw against Zaragoza on April 2, Los Pucelanos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Cordoba this Sunday.
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Arnaiz Jose in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mata Jaime in the 71st minute.
Real Valladolid climbed to 11st place with 34 points from 28 games, tie on points with CD Lugo, which has two games in hand.
