Segunda division (Week 36) : Almeria beats Elche 3-2
SPAIN, Apr. 28, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 36: After losing 1-0 to Cordoba on April 16, Los Rojiblancos returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Elche this Friday.
Almeria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Fernandez Borja in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Rojiblancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Navarro Ximo '64 and Quique Gonzalez '73).
UD Almería climbed to 9th place with 38 points from 29 games, only one point behind CD Numancia, which has a game in hand.
