Segunda division (Week 36) : Girona beats Lugo 2-1
SPAIN, Apr. 30, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 36: After their 3-3 draw against Tenerife on April 15, the Blanquivermells bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Lugo this Sunday.
Girona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Hernandez Carlos ('2 own) and Longo Samuele ('18 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Blanquivermells further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Girona FC remains in second place with 51 points from 28 games, 13 points behind Levante UD.
